First U.S. Tour

Sep 1, 1998

WTB are doing their first US tour to promote the CD called Walter Trout. The tour has taken them to Sturgis, where they got a great response out of the crowd and their Harleys... Other stops on the way were Chicago, St.Paul, Salt Lake City, Lincoln NE etc. The last gig was at the House Of The Blues, where WTB opened up for Joe Cocker. It was a great show to a sold out house.
August there is, what Platinum Entertainment are calling, a "bootleg" CD and video on Walter Trout Band becoming available at key independant stores in the states. The CD is two tracks recorded live at his performance in March at the NARM convention and the video is the whole performance. They are setting that up as an added value item at stores for giveaway with purchase of the album.
