Walter continues to do very well indeed post-transplant. We are now just starting to contact select venues and festivals about booking Walter and the band for the second half of 2015. We want to make sure Walter is ready for the road and make his come-back a special experience for all of you, who supported him so movingly through his illness and eventual miraculous liver transplant.
In celebration and appreciation, we are doing our first ever holiday sale in the Official Walter Trout Web Store. Our shelves are stocked to the roof - especially in the USA where we have a new shipping central location. We are happy to welcome Phil on board, as we say goodbye to Chris, who has done an amazing job over the last many years. Richard and Brenda are holding down the fort in Europe, rest of the world and the UK. We are thankful for the people in our shipping centrals. Their tireless service packaging, shipping, invoicing, etc. makes it possible for us to stay in business on line.
Regarding the sale: Most of the Anniversary Edition Vinyls are discounted - as well as the CD/DVD combo of Walter's latest release. The DVD contains a documentary that was filmed as Walter's health was declining - and will be quite the collector's item. Especially now that Walter is reclaiming his strength. After "Wastin' Away" and facing the "Bottom of the River" he "Takes a Little Time" to get back to doing what he loves: Playing the blues for his fans. In the meantime, please consider someone you love with a copy of his music on CD or vinyl. As "the Blues Came Callin'" for Walter, his music remained as life-affirming as ever!
Please go to our secure web store and check it out. The combo package includes the high-quality book biography written by Henry Yates as the stories were told to him by Walter. It is a great and often hilarious read. The package also includes the CD and the Documentary - all included in the package as you can see below. The book is filled with photos from Walter's childhood, youth, and career in general. Most of these photos were from Walter and Marie's private vault.
